We're Reopening! Welcome Back

We're delighted to have guests return, with proper precautions in place.

We’re pleased to begin accepting reservations starting May 1st, 2020, the day that the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Board officially reopen the city for fun. Here’s a look at the protocols and procedures we've established to ensure that Cinnamon Shore remains a safe haven for our homeowners, friends, staff and guests.

Beaches
Beaches are open for your enjoyment!

Physical Distance Reminders
Signage will remind everyone of proper protocol for social distancing—maintaining six feet of space between groups not traveling together.

Restaurants and Bars
Tables and physical layouts are arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. Reduced seating capacities will allow for a minimum of six feet between each seated party. Properly spaced outdoor seating is available. Employees are reminded not to touch their faces and to practice physical distancing whenever possible. Delivery and to-go orders accommodate in-home dining.

  • Lisabella’s: 361-749-4222; patio dining and to-go orders available.
  • Dylan’s Pizza: 361-416-1844; patio dining and to-go orders available.
  • C Bar: 361-415-1069; outdoor dining only; to-go orders only.

Pools
*UPDATE 5.7.20: The Texas governor's latest executive order allows pools to open as of May 8th at 25% capacity. Therefore our three community pools will be available to guests on that date and beyond with the capacity limits: The Dune Pool, 50 people at a time; Kiera's Pool, 50 people at a time; Still Water Pool, 10 people at a time. We are asking guests to follow social distancing practices and keep the capacity limts in mind as they enjoy the pools. We are pleased to comply with the governor's order and to maintain the highest degree of sanitizing protocol for our guests.

Public Spaces
The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has increased in all public areas, with an emphasis on frequent-contact surfaces
including, but not limited to:

  • Front-desk check-in counters
  • Room keys and locks
  • Public restrooms
  • Fitness center equipment (once the fitness center reopens later this spring)
  • Guest elevators and buttons
  • Door handles, stairways, and handrails
  • Entry/Exit doors
  • Exterior play areas and games
  • Outdoor seating areas
  • Outdoor dining areas and surfaces
  • Trash bins

Guest Rooms

Industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing protocols are being used to clean guest rooms, with particular attention paid to high-touch items, including remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door and furniture handles, nightstands, in-room control panels, light switches, temperature control panels, and the like.

Cleaning products effective against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne and blood-borne pathogens are being used to disinfect, as well as bio-protect, and we're also using antimicrobial products for extended sanitation release. We're working with vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply of these cleaning supplies.

Activities

All indoor social activities, as well as select outdoor activities, are temporarily discontinued. However, we've resumed our summer schedule now, with live music, surf lessons, sand castle lessons, beach yoga and other similar activities taking place with social distancing measures in place.

Employee Protocols

Our employees have clear instructions on how to swiftly report all presumed cases of COVID-19. Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest exhibiting a cough, shortness of breath, or other known symptoms of the virus. We're requiring handwashing and providing sanitation areas for employees and requiring that they wear gloves and masks during housekeeping duties or food and beverage service and in public areas. Sanitizing in high-traffic, back-of-house areas has increased, as well, with an emphasis on employee entrances, employee restrooms, offices, and service desks.

Check-In/Check Out Process
The Vacation Rentals office is providing in-car check-in/check-out services, if preferred. Simply call 361-201-0744 upon arrival and at check out, and we'll bring or pick up your check-in package and keys.

A Vacation Rentals Greeter will provide guidance to arriving and departing guests to ensure physical distancing measures are followed.

Front Office Cleaning and Sanitizing Protocol

All guest touchpoints will be sanitized after each transaction, rooms keys will be sanitized, and check-in beverage service will not be available for self-service at this time. Offices, call centers and registration desks will be sanitized between shift changes.

Fitness Center

*UPDATE May 18, 2020. Our Fitness Center reopened as of May 18, with 25% capacity, in compliance with the governor's order related to reopening gyms. There will be a limit of 4 people using the facility at a time, and we're asking guests to limit sessions to 30 minutes when others are waiting to use the equipment. Please wipe down machines after use with provided wipes, and rest assured that staff will come in and sanitize equipment hourly, as well.
