The Port Aransas Education Foundation will be the beneficiary of tours, expected to start in June, of the Susan Castor Collection Beach House at Cinnamon Shore in Port Aransas. Ground was broken Monday, Nov. 23, by principals in the project. They are, from left, Hector Villareal,landscape designer; Don Buckley, builder; Rhonda Stockenger, Jerry Buckely, builder MIke Stockenger, Sydney Stockhenger, Susan Castor, Lee Ann Peters of Cinnamon Shore and architect Melton Henry. The Southern Living Idea House at Cinnamon Shore was toured by more than 11,000 people and raised more than $22,000 for the education foundation. Hopes are to exceed that total with the Beach House next summer.
