Port Aransas is turning heads of travel writers and vacationers in Texas and beyond.

There's reason to the cheer the recent attention to our fare city. According to Texas Travel, an office within the governor's office, the Gulf Coast Region of the state ranks No. 2 out of several Texas tourism regions.Texans love coming to the beach.
The Port Aransas Chamber proudly announced all sorts of media attention -- multiple (shorebird) feathers in its cap! In a recent press release, the Chamber noted that more and more groups around the globe have put Port Aransas on their lists.
