Austin interior designer Chris Beach gave the interiors of this relaxing lakeside home a fresh take.

On Chris Beach’s official bio, it says that his design vision is inspired by his home state and by his travels around the world. But when he designed interiors for this brand-new home at Cinnamon Shore South, he also drew on personal experience. He’s a homeowner at Cinnamon Shore, with first-hand knowledge of all that vacation living in this seaside village means.

A Singular Vision

As owner of Decorum Home + Design, a luxury interior design firm and home furnishings store in Austin, Chris brought his singular vision of stylish, sophisticated beach house living to this project. From the open-concept main living area to the screen porches on the first floor, the open-air balcony on the second and to every bedroom and bath, every detail contributes to the overall aesthetic--purely coastal, contemporary and relaxing at the same time.

A Vacation Rental With Style

As you peek at the lovely interiors of this beach home on a coastal lake, keep in mind that it’s available for vacation rental. You can book Keepin' It Reel for family and friends, and there's plenty of room for a crowd. A short stroll will take you to the brand-new pool at South, where infinity edges on three sides look to the 7-acre lake at the community's center.

Just off the main living space, the screened porch overlooks the lake and draws everyone outdoors with thoughtful outdoor furniture groupings, from a dining area to a seating area around a coffee table.

In the powder room, the ruffled edges of the mirror resemble waves, while the palmetto pattern on the wallpaper feels strong and bold.

The master bedroom offers the grandeur of a four-poster bed with strong lines and all-white linens.
