We're thrilled to be featured on the cover The Bend magazine, the premier print publication celebrating life along The Coastal Bend of Texas. Along with four other area locales, it touts our community as a "swoon-worthy" place to "staycation." And Cinnamon Shore earns its spot on the list as the Family Excursion destination. Touting family-friendly activities and Gulf-front beach access, the travel article makes sure people know all that Cinnamon Shore has to offer.

The piece recommends both Dylan's Coal Oven Pizzeria and Lisabella's Bistro. "Ease into the evening with a slice of New York-style pizza from Dylan's..." it suggests, before noting that afterward it will be time for the outdoor movie on the Town Center. The next night, the magazine lauds the "upscale dinner" menu at Lisabella's, where you can dine on fare created by Chef Spencer Cox, who was the fifth-place winner at the 7th Annual World Food Championship in 2018. According the writer, the suggests starting with a craft cocktail and ending the evening with the made-from-scratch desserts.

After dinner at Cinnamon Shore, the magazine notes that the live music from area musicians makes a great way for adults to "slip away for a more grown-up experience."

Indeed, at Cinnamon Shore, kids may throw a football or play tag on part of the green in Town Center, while parents lounge nearby in Adirondacks set up in from a duo or band on busy summer weekends. The vibe is always casual and festive during peak season, and the writer of this article, Kirby Conda Tello, seemed to recognize that, concluding the piece by saying: "The weekend never seems long enough as it nears its end, but the memories made will last a lifetime, and the whole family will have enjoyed the experience."
Live music happens Friday and Saturday during high season.
Other area destinations in the pieces included Rockport as "The Daycation;" Camp Cayoacan for the "Solo Weekend," and Sunflower Beach Resort & Residences as a "Romantic Getaway." We're glad to be dubbed the family destination, and work hard to provide downtime, play time and amenities that attract multiple generations to our village.
