Featured in 'Best Of the South' by Southern Living
Cinnamon Shore Shown Front & Center!
In a Winter 2024 stand-alone issue "Best of the South," we were pleased to see a gorgeous, two-page photo of the Cinnamon Shore North crossover looking toward Grand Boulevard! The sun-splashed photo is showcased in an article about Port Aransas, and it's "Coastal Comeback" after Hurricane Harvey.
The article goes in depth about everything you love about our Mustang Island beach town. It also highlights Cinnamon Shore as a luxury family destination, along with its activities, amenities, and restaurant Lisabella's. It nods to the contributions Cinnamon Shore gave the New Day Fund in the wake of Harvey, and makes our community known to its readership. Its monthly magazine reaches more than 24 million readers, and this issue is a "Special Collector's Edition."

second spread showcases Port Aransas popular spots downtown, like Macdaddy's, Tortuga's Saltwater Grill, and the colorful bar Shorty's, along with the sea turtles rescued and rehabbed at the Amos Rehabilitation Keep. The article, by writer Kaitlyn Yarborough with photos by Cedric Angeles, details the town's reaction to Harvey and its resilient spirit.
On the third spread of the article, another photo features the orange-and-white umbrella and chair sets that line the Cinnamon Shore beach. Southern Living Photographer Cedric Angeles captures the carefree mood at Cinnamon Shore and in the city of Port A.
