Inspired by Cinnamon Shore Fall Festival

At our Beach, Boos & BBQ fall festival, held the weekend before Halloween in Port Aransas, Texas, our coastal village pulls out all the stops!

Come visit this year, Oct. 24-25, 2025, to enjoy the best weather, best fall food and brews, and best fall carnival fun! And remember, the fun ideas translate to any location--minus the beachfront! Get inspired and enjoy these fun ways to celebrate the spookiest weekend of the season.

Skeleton-Framed Candy Charcuterie Board

The team at Shore Cafe made sure the kids enjoyed their own candy charcuterie board during last year's fall fest.

Known for creating gourmet boards of meats and cheese paired with wines for guests and owners alike, Shore Cafe translated their skills for trick-or-treaters staying on property during the festival. A skeleton stuffed with favorite treats gave kids a chance to make their plates!

No bones about it -- this idea was a executed to perfection!

Make a Backdrop Out of Mums

Our event planner at Oh, Goodie Designs created a fabulous backdrop for Instagrammers to use during the festival. Simple pots of mums inserted into a wooden frame created a seasonal photo op to remember.

For your own Halloween shindig, head to your local garden spot and get creative, using potted blooms on a bakers rack or wall to borrow this idea wherever you live.

Rename Your Ice "Scream" Offerings

Shore Cafe also renamed its gelato selection for the Beach, Boos & BBQ weekend and made sure plenty of candy topping finished out their selections.

Borrow their ideas or come up with your own to ensure your dessert bar has the right vibe. 

Serve Donuts & Apple Cider

Apple cider topped with sweet donuts served on the straw make a fun extra for your next Halloween party. Shore Cafe handed out their version at last year's event.

Make Pumpkin-Shaped Pizzas

Dylan's Coal Oven Pizzeria put on a pizza-making class during our fall fest, teaching kids how to roll out the dough and topping their pizzas with pepperoni and all their favorites.

You may not have a coal oven at the ready or even want to bother with making your own dough. But here's an idea: Before your trick-or-treaters head out in the neighborhood, you can help them cut pre-made pizza rounds into pumpkin shapes and let them create their own pies to fuel the fun. 

Stick with Caramel Apples

These iconic symbols of Halloween and fall make the sweetest addition. Displayed together, they always delight the kids.
