Wooden Boat Festival 2025| Oct. 24-26

Enjoy the Annual Wooden Boat Festival, a great family friendly event centered around the boat heritage of Port Aransas.

This year the Wooden Boat Festival coincides with Beach, Boos & BBQ at Cinnamon Shore, so there will be lots of family fun to enjoy. 

The Wooden Boat Festival began in 2014, an annual three-day event that features handcrafted kayaks, paddleboards, skiffs and sailing boats—as well as historic Farley boats from the local Farley Boat Works. Learn about boat building and boating or build a boat in the Family Boat Building competition. A market, kids activities, and live music round out this year's schedule!

Family Boat Build

The Family Boat Build is the weekend's central main event, in which three to four families build a boat in two and a half days and launch the boats on Sunday afternoon.

Coastal Market & Kids Activities

A market features a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts and boat kit vendors.

Other Activities

Music, food, and other exhibits.
