Wooden Boat Festival 2022 | Oct. 21-23

Enjoy the Annual Wooden Boat Festival, a great family friendly event centered around the boat heritage of Port Aransas.

The festival began in 2014 and is an annual three-day event that features handcrafted kayaks, paddleboards, skiffs and sailing boats—as well as historic Farley boats. Attend informative programs on boat building and boating or build a boat in the Family Boat Building competition. Kids can build a model boat, too!

Family Boat Build

The Family boat build is the weekend's central main event, ij which three to four families build a boat in two and a half days and launch the boats on Sunday afternoon.

Nautical Market

A Nautical Market features a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts and boat kit vendors.

Other Activities

Activities include a Boat Barn Dance with food at Farley Boat Works, speakers, kids’ activities and more. You can even row a boat in the harbor!
