TX Designer Opens Showroom at Cinnamon Shore!
Acclaimed Austin Designer brings Decorum Home + Design to Market Street!
Accomplished designer Christopher Beach has done project after project at Cinnamon Shore, and now he's establishing a new location of his Austin home store and design center in our coastal village!
Look for construction to start later this year on a 4,000-square-foot showroom topped with four condos that display his impeccable coastal designs—all inside a gorgeous, brand-new building that's part of our growing retail family. It will become its own landmark in the Town Center at Cinnamon Shore North.

Traditional with a Punch
Known for giving traditional interiors contemporary pizazz, Christopher has completed seven projects for clients in our village, and he has 17 more in the works! Plus, he updated interiors for his own vacation home, Sips Ahoy on Bent Grass Drive. (Take a look!)

He's also currently collaborating on several grand beach homes going up at Cinnamon Shore South, working closely with Austin builder Seven Custom Homes and others. Now, Christopher's new coastal showroom will be a resource and source of inspiration for customers and clients at Cinnamon Shore and all across The Coastal Bend region.
Showcase of Style
The new Decorum Home + Design at Cinnamon Shore is designed by Jim Kissling of Kissling Architecture, an architect who has worked extensively in our village for years. The ground floor will offer a welcoming lobby with an elevator, while the showroom floor will present fabrics, furnishings, home accents and more.
Upstairs, four condos--two with two bedrooms and two with three bedrooms--will serve as showpiece residences that customers can walk through to see how colors, artwork, and other selections work together. The condos will be part of the vacation rental pool so you can even stay in the luxe but comfortable condos and get an idea of what selections you might like for your own coastal home.

From special orders and design projects for Cinnamon Shore homeowners to gift items and home accents that vacationers can pick up and take home, Decorum Home + Design at Cinnamon Shore will have something for everyone.
"We’ll help refresh vacation homes season after season, and we’ll have things people can buy off the floor, like lamps, rugs, and pillows for that on-site shopping experience,” Christopher says.
Signature Style: 'Coastal, Classic, Fresh & Clean'
Christopher's design projects have built-in flexibility--especially in a showroom that offers access to many high-quality, luxury brands. He knows what makes coastal interiors work, but he collaborates with clients to discover ways to make interiors their own.
He says furnishings provide the foundation for interiors, but unique combinations of accents, accessories, and artwork make spaces shine. “You have to have those extras. It's about layering--the treys, the books, the art,” he says, adding that his goal is to signify the coastal locale in subtle ways.
Rooted in this day and age, he creates a contemporary yet traditional look by relying on:
- Texture, including natural grass woven into a headboards or fringed rattan on a light shade;
- Wallpaper with coastal prints or whimsical patterns
- Statement window treatments, from shutters to vintage-looking fabrics;
- Unconventional beach home color schemes, including use of black and white or emerald green, for some projects, while traditional blues for others.
Christopher defines his style as "coastal, classic, fresh, and clean." And he looks at vacation homes as a chance to have a little fun.
"The coast is the place where you can be whimsical. You don’t get that opportunity in your homes in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas," he says.
Discovering Cinnamon Shore
Christopher has fond memories of family beach vacations in Galveston as a child, but he discovered Cinnamon Shore via word of mouth when an Austin friend absolutely insisted he check it out and look at a property there. Now they enjoy vacationing on the same street, and that’s led to project after project in our village.
The Cinnamon Shore location of Decorum Home + Design should break ground some time in late 2023! In the meantime, reach out to Cinnamon Shore Realty to learn more about available properties where you could enlist Christopher's help with your own dreamy, coastal interiors!
